Roman Catholic Diocese of Oslo
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Oslo (Latin: Osloënsis) is an exempt diocese located in the city of Oslo in Norway.

The territory is divided into 23 parishes, located in the following sites: Oslo (2), Moss, Askim, Fredrikstad, Halden, Lillestrøm, Hamar, Kongsvinger, Lillehammer, Jessheim, Hønefoss, Stabekk, Drammen, Fagernes, Tønsberg, Larvik, Porsgrunn, Arendal, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Haugesund and Bergen.
History
- 1070?: Established as Diocese of Oslo
- 1537: Suppressed
- August 7, 1868: Restored as Mission “sui iuris” of Norway from the Apostolic Vicariate of Sweden
- August 17, 1869: Promoted as the Apostolic Prefecture of Norway
- March 11, 1892: Promoted as the Apostolic Vicariate of Norway
- June 1, 1913: Renamed as the Apostolic Vicariate of Norway and Spitsbergen
- December 15, 1925: Renamed as the Apostolic Vicariate of Norway
- April 10, 1931: Renamed as the Apostolic Vicariate of Oslo
- June 29, 1953: Promoted as Diocese of Oslo
